I wouldn't want to play against him, seems like he's everywhere.
ESPN ran a story saying "KU v Duke" was the "Matchup we've wanted to see" and I laughed because if not for stories like Loyola and even KSU I'd be tuned out somewhat.
I watch NCAA basketball for the Cyclones and to pull for the underdog. When I want to watch the best basketball I watch the NBA playoffs. Duke gives me nothing interesting as a fan even when they have great teams (unless I were a Duke alum or local).

Me, too. If I want to see Duke-Kansas, I'll watch them in a regular season matchup. If that's not scheduled, that's fine. I don't really have a need to see it.
Loyola is why I'm bothering.
Michigan rolled against A&M. Not so much against Houston.
To be fair, a lot of people watch Duke games to root against them. I would guess a majority of viewers.
I'll probably watch both Final Four games if the other side is 50 or 100% Big 12. If it's Nova vs Duke there's almost zero chance I'll tune in other than a quick score check. I'd rather watch regular season NBA or wait a few weeks until NBA playoffs absolutely destroys this quality of basketball in every way.
There's no way I'm not watching Loyola next weekend. Absolute must see.

There's no reason Loyola can't be a mid major power. The amount of talent in Chicago compared to the lack of great programs in the area has been out of balance since DePaul fell off from being elite decades ago.
