u really want to have good driving guards that can get into the paint to be successful in march
morris was more of a finesse point guard because all hoiberg cared about was nba style not winning in tourney
wiggington can have an amazing run in march hopefully next year or the following

hoiberg and prohm should have pushed morris a little more to try to get his shoulder into
defense and drive the paint and at least dish

TV. They don't pay attention to when someone played on the previous day. They know their TV slots and know that the location games must follow each other.

Yeah, that Virginia team was anything but known for their shooting prowess, and they were lights out to start.

And longer, and faster and and and.

If anyone else for ISU were able to get going it would have helped but VA was plain better and likely wins whenever they play.

McKay's limited skill set tended to get exposed if he had to truly battle down low and that was a prime example.

I don't recall what happened to Nader that night but looking at the stats, he shot 7 times in 32 minutes. McKay shot twice.

I think we are in a time where you have to regularly start picking some big upsets every year. How many 2's have gone down in the first round or 2 in the last 7 years?

four 2's lost to 15s since 2012: Missouri, Duke, Georgetown, Michigan State. As for 2 seeds losing in second round in past 7 years, I couldn't say off the top of my head. Having all four 2 seeds advance to the Sweet 16 is relatively uncommon, though.
