***Official 2018 NCAA Tourney Thread***

West Virginia will probably win but I had to take a chance on a 5-12 upset.

I think the tourney experience of Boheim and Syracuse will win out over a team making their first appearance.

Creighton-KState seems like a tossup.

I think Nevada is overseeded. Texas has a history of not showing up in this thing so there's that.
Yeah thats it for me with the Texas match up. Even with the Nevada PG out, they have some real scoring threats.

Upsets I picked for this day (not counting 8/9 games)
(13) Charleston over (4) Auburn
(12) New Mexico State over (5) Clemson
(11) Syracuse over (6) TCU
(10) Providence over (7) A&M
(10) Texas over (7) Nevada (not sure why, but I did)
(10) Butler over (7) Arkansas

I picked the same. I was 50/50 on the Butler and Texas game. The rest I felt comfortable with.

Same except Charleston, Syracuse, and Providence. Like I said...I keep it pretty chalky first round.

Purdue struggling with a horrible Cal State Fullerton team. But I would guess they end up winning by 15 or so.

Which of today's games are supposed to be good matchups?
My very, very quick look at the bracket sheet makes me think there could be a lot of eye-bleeding ugliness today.

I have several upsets

WVU losing
Clemson losing
Auburn losing

I didn’t pick it but I’m very interested in the Cincy game. They are very good but they can go into dry spells scoring and Georgia St has a couple of fantastic guards.

It's looking like one of those games, underwhelming early, then favorite pulls away comfortably.

I rarely take the plunge on a 15-over-2, and didn't this year, either. If I was forced to pick one, I'd go w/ Georgia State over Cincinnati.

I wish they would have guys that have been calling basketball all year. Guys who actually know the teams and what is going on in college basketball.

The announcers doing the games are regulars who have been doing college basketball forever.

You must have them confused with the Nba studio crew who I agree don't know jack about college.

I think Cumberland on Cincinnati is a good comparison for THT., but THT is more athletic and I think he'll be better.
