I think some of us are too young to remember Randy Brown.
To be fair, Randy covers both sides of the rivalry. Randy comes from a family of Hoks, he attended Iowa and was a student coach for Lute. Randy was Lute's golden boy and Lute took him to Arizona. TF also really liked Randy (and his brother Rick) and when a spot opened, he convinced LE to get him on board.

Sadly, we can all share Randy's pain and brutal story. This Barnstormer thing sucks. I am not a fan of the program, the coaches or even the guy in questions but for every story like this, there is a victim.

Look at what I was responding to when I brought up Randy Brown. Brown was not the end of ISU BB and I doubt this will be the end of the Barnstormers.

Brown didn’t end the University of Iowa, but this could very well end the Barnstormers. There’s a significant difference between an alumni or employee of a huge business going to prison, and almost all of a startup’s human capital being in jail.

I guess I thought they were more established than that and that they were more than just him. If not I see where you are going.

And as far as Brown goes, while he was an UofI grad all of the press was over his position on the ISU staff so there was no danger to UofI but there was definitely negative press for Iowa State.

Is Mike Born's kid a big prospect? I know he's small but sounds like he can ball. He plays for the Barnstormers correct?

Bowen plays for the Stormers. He will be a big prospect but he needs to grow. Natural scorer. Just stands about 5'8. You will see him listed at 5'10- 5'11. He is not that.

I'll see one of the coaches in a couple weeks. It will be a topic of conversation. :)
