MLB: ***Official Cubs Offseason Thread***

Lackey was a contender for worst starter in baseball last year. Of course Lester is better than him. If Darvish can stay healthy and not tip his pitches he will be a solid 3 starter. He's nothing more, though. His ERA has steadily rose each of the past 4 seasons. And as I mentioned before, who's going to pitch for him come playoff time? Hand movement in the glove = offspeed, no hand movement = fastball. It's amazing to me too.

Funny, hasn't your Dodgers ace been accused of not showing up in the postseason himself?

Cubs biggest offseason moves have consisted of signing ex-Dodgers who you couldn't beat in the playoffs. A la Darvish and Morrow. So this "idiot" Dodgers fan is getting a kick out of cubs fans hyping up Darvish and their rotation.
For someone who claims to not be scared of the Cubs, you're really insistent on talking about how much you think the Cubs will fail this season.

At least when we beat you guys two years ago, we were able to back it up with a World Series. Pretty embarrassing how the Dodgers couldn't use their terrific season last year, and home field advantage, to their advantage. I suppose that embarrassment of your performance last year is easily ignored by your very intelligent prediction of the future.

Always "wait till next year" for these sad sack Dodger fans.

Funny, Yu Darvish lost the World Series for the Dodgers. And guess whose team he's on this year? I don't know if it's the language barrier or what, but Darvish absolutely robbed the Cubs :D

What about the other two games you lost in the Series? How were those Darvish's fault?

You keep harping on the Cubs signing ex-Dodgers. WTF? So teams shouldn't sign anyone from teams who beat them? Wow, that makes a lot of sense. You're acting like a jealous ex-girlfriend crying while eating ice cream. If you really don't care, let it go.

Can we talk about one of the worst players in the MLB Kike Hernandez hitting 3 homers and 8 RBI against the Cubs in game 5 of the NLCS? Holy S*** that's embarrassing.

Whatever helps you hide the embarrassment of losing the World Series, at home, after an historically good season.

Anyone else feel like a trip down memory lane?

Just your typical Cubs fan living in the past of the glory days of Miguel Montero hahahahaha. How many rings do the Cubs have in the last 100 years?

Ummm....

But yeah the Cubs have 1 world series title in the last 109 years. Now Cubs fans continue on with your hilarious off season signings. Go, shoo.

Did you forget that you're in a Cubs thread turbo? You shoo!

Um

Ummmm talking about the most recent season is not living in the past. It's still the most relevant season to date.

But discussing 109 years is, you know, living in the past...
