Do I need to forward some of my ads to papalew?PapaLew's first response: get a new girlfriend.
This puts him on excessively thin ice as I snore.
Earplugs for you (go big & get the fitted ones for comfort).
BreatheRite strips don't work for me.
We've found that it's worse if I'm on my back, so sometimes he'll have to nudge me to get me to roll on my side.
I'm a mouth breather at night, and in the winter the air in the house can get really dry, which dries out mucous membranes & makes the snoring louder. You might try a small humidifier on her night stand - that helps us.
All of these options are better than a new girlfriend. Speaking of which, I'm going to go have a serious conversation with my husband now about his options...like couches!![]()

Raise the head of your bed up about 6". You can buy plastic blocks for that purpose -- we did for my daughter's dorm bed, so she could use the underneath for storage. Not sure where we got them though -- maybe Target?Need some help everyone, the gf is a bad snorer. It has really picked up the last 10 days or so since we moved. It's getting to the point where she is snoring within minutes of going to sleep. It takes me forever to get to sleep and on top of it, I'm a light sleeper.
Anyone have any tips to help with this problem? I'm not able to sleep anyway, so any tips would be appreciated right now.

They make those mouth guards that are supposed to prevent snoring. Like the Zyppah. Also aren't those wedge things that incline your upper body a bit supposed to help?Need some help everyone, the gf is a bad snorer. It has really picked up the last 10 days or so since we moved. Good choice. I'm all for a good road trip but there isn't a whole lot to see between Ames and Denver and, as much as I hate to say anything nice about Nebraska, it's more interesting than Eastern Colorado.
We will be there. Sec 239, row 9, aisle seats. Come say hi!
This. I can remember many folks telling me how boring western Nebraska was to drive through, but that area looks like a veritable wonderland compared to NE Colorado. Unless you're a fan of endless corn fields stretching out to the horizon, with no trees, no towns..... nothing.
Driving through northeast Colorado is like driving across the western 2/3 of Kansas. Anyone that calls Iowa or Nebraska flat has never driven through Kansas.This.
