Usually I do tuna noodle casserole on Ash Wednesday. I was thinking, "oh hubby could join us at church this year" but then see the oldest has a scheduled volleyball practice from 8-10pm in DSM.
We usually do clam chowder on Ash Wednesday.
I am relieved this Friday funeral was before Lent. We basically do two fish fries then with mac ‘n cheese for the kids.

Also, did I mention DH is headed to India for 10 days in a few weeks? Leaving me all alone. Also didn't realize when he said yes that it overlapped with a musical he got me tickets to (for Christmas). I saw a commercial for it this week and thought ****, he forgot didn't he. Ran into the bathroom (he was showering) and said "what day are those tickets?"
His face as he realized where it was headed was one of "I dun screwed this up and she's going to be all sad now."
