Random Thoughts XI (Eleven Pipers Piping)

My personal stance on redheads; I've dated a few and they are all crazy. Fun in the sack, but there's always something a little off in the personality department. It didn't help that one of the ones I dated in college was on medication for depression, so that skews my research. But overall, they can be fun to date, but buyer beware.

I was married to a redhead for 24 years. I can vouch for everything @cyhiphopp is saying. The vixen is blonde, whole lot more stability going on there.

That movie is unwatchably bad and mounted a strong challenge to my mantra that bad sci-fi is better than no sci-fi at all. Since modified to "mediocre sc-ifi is better than no scifi at all."

Try watching "Plan 9 from Outer Space" sometime. Will bring you a whole new meaning to unwatchable.

Random thought/question. Long story short my BIL (19 years old, skinny and right around 6' tall) made the comment that he didn't think he could fit in a twin bed. My in laws gave each of their kids a queen bed in middle school for whatever reason. I didn't have anything bigger than a twin until I was married so obviously I made a comment about he could definitely fit in it.

What did you/your kids have?

We had twin beds - they were hand-me-downs from my Dad and his brother. I remember the first time I saw a king size bed.....I thought it was immense.

We had full-sized beds growing up, but that was mostly because my older sibs had to share a bed. By the time I got older, they went to college and I had a room and bed to myself. Suckers!

In college, my 6'2" self had no trouble sleeping in a lofted twin bed. I never really minded having my feet hang off the end of the bed or my legs sprawled all over the place, though. I sometimes still wake up with a leg dangled off the side of our king bed.

Advance warning - graphic content herein.

My buddy dated a redhead when we were both single - she liked doing the nasty to Bob Seger's "Ramblin Gamblin Man". He said it was pretty epic, but took a few days to recover.
