Uh, Hassel with the "fail". The game was sponsored by the Iowa Corn Growers Association. All the glow-sticks said "Iowa Corn" on them. Perhaps you went to the east coast and forgot that Iowa is not ashamed to be an agricultural state, but we haven't.
He needs to be outfitted with a ninja mask or some boxing gloves, too
I hope Pemsl is ok and has a speedy recovery. The kid did push on him but it really had nothing to do with the injury. Stupid reaction by the kid and everyone else who's up in arms about it.
The kid wasn't even looking at the play as it came at him. At the last minute he lost his balance and MAYBE touched Pemsl to regain his balance. Not even sure if it would have qualified as a "touch" in touch football.
He’s from that urban Mecca Muscatine so at least he has the street cred.

I've lived in urban Chicago and LA the past 20 years...and I think farming and corn are great! I like food! I can't even wrap my brain around mocking agriculture.
It's mostly Iowa and KU fans I see self hating that their state is an agricultural state. I guess they think Iowa City and Lawrence are more like New York City and Los Angeles than Ames or Manhattan Kansas...which is hilarious to laugh at but also very sad for the deep self loathing and ignorance needed to feel that way.
Ah, yes.. that large urban metropolis of Muscatine...
