Sad day. I am lost. Who will I look to for guidance?
Just finished reading the book A Member of the Family by Dianne Lake. She was 14 when her parents sent her to Manson

I can't remember where I read/heard this story, but I think it was on The Last Podcast on the Left.
A reporter who did a lot of work on the Manson murders meet with Manson in prison and told him he was done talking to him and following the case, it was time to move. Manson asked him to come back one more time in a week for one last talk, and the reporter agreed. When the reporter came back Manson didn't say anything too, but handed him a piece of paper and on it was a hand drawn picture of the reporters house. Manson said that if he didn't come back and see him that his followers knew what to do.
Details are foggy on the story, but if true that is crazy.

I remember watching a documentary, Helter Skelter, in grade school about the murders. At the time I thought it was pretty cool, the film not the murders, Hindsight wtf they showing that to grade schoolers.
Yes, Helter Skelter - I think I was 10 or 11 when I saw it. I was staying at my aunts house, and she remembers that I didn't sleep for a couple days I was so freaked out. She really lit into my uncle for watching that with me in the room.
Being somewhat young (late 20s) and not really knowing anything about him I made a dumb decision to plug his name into YouTube to see what I could find. InfoWars is already saying BLM and Antifa are inspired by him. Then I made an even dumber decision and read some comments on the Fox News video (which was straight and to the point) that I watched...yikes.

I know Mason was connected with the Beach Boys, but wasn't it Helter Skleter that Manson claimed drove him crazy?
I'm not sure if anyone can explain his mental problems - LSD, failure to be recognized for his music, Scientology, his desire to create a race riot, growing up in youth detention facilities- anyone's guess
