Bar soap vs Shower gel

Loofah and fragrance-free Dove. I used to use this fancy goat's milk soap but I had to stop using it after I had an allergic reaction to it. Which is too bad, because that soap smelled fantastic.

95% of the time bar soap. When maybe gonna get lucky, some smelly good vanilla body wash stuff.

I also take great pride in doing the Vulcan-Bar-soap-meld of the tiny sliver of the last bar onto the big new bar. My life has so little meaning.

Over 60 so my vote isn't supposed count, I guess.

Edit, also no loofah or wash cloth. I do use the wash cloth to shave before hand at the sink.

It depends on the situation. I love the Dove deep clean bars with the scrubbers but for traveling body wash is a more simple.

Once I found out body wash doesn't leave soap scum all over your shower walls/tub, I switched. Totally cut back on the amount of time you have to scrub the ever-lovin' snot out of it to get it clean.

I'd send it back to the kitchen and ask the chef to wear a hair net, and to not render the broth down to gelatin next time.

I use that fancy liquid castile soap; the other stuff dries me out in the winter. It seems expensive, but all you need is a few drops so it lasts a long time.

Good reason to use castile soap they are plant-based not the old tallow (cow fat based). The reason this is good is there may be a lot of weird stuff in beef fat-BIG thing is the hard fat clogs drains and dries your skin.

Castile also gives you better skin tone, soothes skin irritation and may improve complexion. But if 'me no care' that's no problem.

Cleaning lady is the way to go. Something not up to par and wife ******* about it? Blame the help!

Used to be a big gel guy but now that I’ve been using bar soap I won’t be going back. I just feel like I’m getting a better clean using the bar and not wasting as much.

Get a scrubby (yeah, I said scrubby), then you only have to use a small amount in the scrubby and it suds up.

I'll never go back to bar soap. No more soap scum in the shower. No more dry skin in the winter, the scrubby gets rid of all the dead skin.

Don't care if people think it's less manly, shower gel and a scrubby is the only way to go.
