Opinions on that INT

I blame the refs and Woody for not having eligibility left to secure a ISU touchdown in this game.

WOODY!WOODY!WOODY!

Here is a new view. If you slow this down frame by frame, it making me lean more and more towards this was an easy TD call. But itd doubtful the refs had a view like this at their disposal.

That to me shows confirmable touchdown. Not even simultaneous possession.

What irks me about this is the fact that, as seen in the video, the referee is standing immediately to the left of the person taking this video -- everything we see in this video would also have been clearly visible to the official.

What a hell of a play by Murdock. Unquestionably the only call you can make is TD or incomplete pass. I doubt the refs even bothered to look at this angle with their “confirmed” ********. I hope those refs suffer vast personal tragedies.

I haven’t seen anyone mention it today, but earlier this week someone pointed out that it was the same officiating crew as last week at wvu.

Anyone able to confirm that?

I don't think it was. Today it was Brad Van Vark, last week I think it was the really old guy who couldn't figure out which way to point when making calls and took forever to get the calls out.

I don’t know if it matters, but that new angle clearly shows Green’s right hand under the ball, which I hate to say, makes it look like Green had two hands on that ball for most of the play until they went to ground. Marchie got two hands on it after they were down. But, that still looks like dual possession, which is a TD.

I was perfectly fine (but very disappointed that the game was over, obviously) with it being called an INT when I watched the game. Thought it in live action and after reviews, thinking there wasn't enough to overturn it. Hadn't seen the replays until now. Can't believe what I'm seeing. Does the replay official have access to these angles? Horrible! It's a TD plain and simple! OK, give us an incompletion as a cop out, I would get that, but no way was this an INT! I won't sleep tonight. Un-dirty word-believable.

Isn't Marchie's right hand on the ball, and Green's hand is on top of Marchie's? And then watch when they hit the ground, Marchie's right hand stays on the ball and Green's comes off for a second.

I think it should have been called incomplete, but if you MUST call it either INT or TD, then I think you have to go with TD with the rules the way they are.

I don't get how they confirmed it. I get not being able to overturn it, but confirmed? Honestly, that ball moved alot on the way down. I think they should of just called it incomplete and let the players decide the game.

Also, I agree, Zeb should not of thrown that pass.
Agree so hard

Call an interception, fine, Call the play as stands, fine, call the season in general, fine. But DO NOT tell me that pass way intercepted AND it was confirmed. There is no was that play was intercepted AND 100% without a doubt confirmed

just got home and watched it. Zero chance it was an interception. You either call that a TD or an incompletion. The defender never had his hand on the ball going down, Marchie pinned it on the defenders chest and at best the defender eventually put his hand on top of Marchie's. Marchie also had sole possession on the ground before the defender ripped it out while they were out of bounds. No way replay should have "confirmed the play" Bad call on the field, worse replay.

Yep... Marchie's hand CLEARLY underneath Green's hand. And as I said before, I believe Green's hand that is on top of Marchie's even comes off when they hit the ground.

This wasn't the worst travesty of officiating though that cost us the game. The two PI's calls on OSU's 2 pt conversion were extremely ticky tacky, and uncatchable balls too.... and then the no call on the other end with the OSU defender holding Lazard down so he couldn't even jump... now that was downright getting jobbed.

It was so bad, that you wonder if the Big 12 really wanted the 2 loss higher ranked team to beat the 3 loss lower ranked team? The last thing the Big 12 probably wants is ISU to be in their Big 12 Championship game. They would fear the lower TV ratings.
