We had 108 trick or treaters on Beggar's Night last night. Lots of teenagers came just to give me crap, I don't think claiming you are a a student or throwing a pillowcase with eyeholes over your head and saying you are a robber and/or a marshmallow is really a costume. Also asking what we had for dinner and wanting lasagna in the bag.

Aren't all calicos female?The other day there was a gorgeous calico cat in the yard.....I tried to befriend it, but it ran off (sorry, not sure of gender). Looked quite a bit like this:
I was never a cat person until I met Jinx, who belonged to the vixen. Jinx converted me, though. She'd lay on my lap and I'd rub her head and ears and she would purr so loud that stuff was rattling on the shelves. (I swear!)
Most - the color pattern for calico & tortoiseshell (for torties & torbies) is carried on the X chromosome.
