Based upon Occam's Razor, this does seem like the most likely explanation.
Boxster was theorizing that chili laced brownies would affect demon kids like garlic does vampires.
Maybe someone planted a couple rows of sweet corn by Pants. Need to see if there is a group of kids standing in it.

Have to run to the tile shop but will swing by later and pick up Riley. Still have a big tote full of dog stuff here at the Boxster manor from the basenji days. We'll get along just fine since Riley is used to guys that hate people. And I have squirrels he can bark at. Not sure how he is going to feel about the diet and lake walks though. Dude's going to get in shape!
