Sure, but when people get that old 1) they can't hear you 2) won't listen to you anyhow. So it would be just to make you feel better.

I want to like and dislike this at the same time.
One of our club pitchers did voluntary hip surgery that is taking her out of sports for a year. I think her rehab is going better than expected, so hopefully everything will be good when she does come back just in time for HS season (freshman this year). Except she mentioned to her mom she may want to have the surgery done on the other side now because it has helped her pain and mobility issues. Her mom just looked at her like she was crazy--guaranteed 12 weeks non-weight bearing on crutches, year rehab another time did not sound like fun.
He showed me the sink he ordered yesterday. It's pretty cool. I trust that my future inherited bathroom will look good.
I want to like and dislike this at the same time.
Uuuufffff. Feel for her, hope it all comes together for her. Have tried to look at some positives out of this and people give me good looks whenever I mention some.
Larger image equals more memory. Smaller image equals less memory. If you have 2 similar items that are just different sizes, you can get essentially the same resolution in a smaller image from the smaller item. Therefore, small item equals small image size and, therefore, less memory.
Girls will appreciate that your small images aren't clogging up all the memory space on their phones.
Gurl, it's called perspective. You can make anything look any size you want.

@CloneinWDSM I refuse to post in the Cardinals thread (that thread is worse than the interstate rivals thread), but Yadi calls all his own games. In reading Matheny's book he talks about letting catcher's call their own games at a young age and I remember thinking, "my daughter would never be able to do that" but now at 14 she prefers to call her games. Probably a lot longer answer than you are looking for, but I could go on and on about how Yadi approaches the game. I'll spare all you non-Cardinals fans.
As a player, the most frequently asked question that I received from fans, was "When you are looking into the dugout, is Tony (LaRussa) calling your pitches?" I get the same question in regards to Yadi still today, and the answer is a very clear "Of course not." There is no way that I could ever have a better sense of the game, or see the subtle things that only a catcher could see, from the dugout
I never once had Hall of Fame manager Tony LaRussa call a pitch for me, nor have I ever called one for Yadi...and I never will. We do, however, talk about pitch selection every single day, and we are always learning and challenging ourselves to be better at it. Help your kids, no matter how young or old, do the same.
I know that once my daughter is done with travel ball and she's playing in college somewhere, I can't wait to coach a team of my own. And it doesn't matter if I start with 8U or 10U or whatever, I will be working with my catchers to call their own games. If I'm doing my job right at practice, there's no reason the girls shouldn't be running the show in games.
But if you blow it up too big, you start seeing pixels, and then the game is over.
The result of CF being a little ***** and lagging so much it takes five minutes to type out a 10 word sentence.
Kickball time!
So we got going tonight and I decided to be all take charge as the first veteran to arrive and got all the noobs intro'd to each other and out on the first field to practice. The league guy normally does a "here be the rules" for the first game.
About five minutes later an ump starts grouching that we have to get off the field because if we warm-up, other teams get to warm up and the games will never start on time.
For reference, we were using my ball and were there at 6:15 for a 6:30 game. Friend is like next time we'll play out in the grass and good luck trying to kick us out!
Also, no rules going over so we were at the wrong field and everyone had to walk far the other direction. Nice job, CG.
We get started, first guy got on. Then I kick. I got on! They threw the ball at me and they missed! I got on first! DH was right there like nice job, you're safe*. A guy kicked and it went really far, I got all the way to third and friend coach held me there.
Then a friend kicked, but it looked perilous so I hadn't started going. Friend - WHILE RUNNING TO FIRST - starts yelling "RUN CG!" By that point base coach friend was like OK go so I ran and scored! I got the first run of the game! We joked that runner friend would have been safe if she'd focused on running and not yelling at me.
Then some other stuff happened, I helped get an out at first, then was definitely probably responsible for 2 of the 3 runs other team scored in an inning to pull ahead 5-2. Whoops. A dropped catch and sort of drop at 2nd. Well, on the latter I just didn't the person out, the person running home wasn't my fault. Oh, but I didn't throw it to first or something. IDK. We have a new husband-wife team and they were really good. Think they got on every time they kicked. She had really good ground balls and he had low bomb kicks.
So I kick two more times and foul out, sad times. But others do better and we are tied 5-5 at the end. Dh kicks. Gets on first. Next person kicks. Ground ball. They throw and tag the runner out. But DH gets to 2nd. Next person kicks (my coworker). Same thing - but even though they tagged coworker, the ball got away a bit so DH ran for home.
He scored. We won! He performed well under pressure
*I definitely, 100% felt the ball graze my right hand. But DH didn't see it and they called me safe so I went with it. But I feel I must confess.
There's so much to love here.
First, what does kickball practice look like? I envision that it looks like recess.
Second, congrats for having your own kickball. You should totes autograph it
Third, nice job cheating. If you're not first, you're last.
Fourth, I love your description of your friend's kick as "perilous". I can only assume you were fearing for someone's life as you stood on third base while your teammates were imploring you to run.
Fifth, great suspense overall. I stayed with the update all the way to the end. Solid stuff as usual.
Price is Right is a little behind. Son has it on as I check on him. Girl on stage starts yelling Hillary several times. That is getting close to a year ago.
I'll have to check the Official Kickball Rule Book, but I'm not sure if that's actually considered "kicking".
That's like saying someone retired to their basement study when, in actuality, they just fell down the stairs.

Used to be once you viewed you conversation or like/funny/agree stuff it would go away. Now it comes back again and there are no new reactions to your posts.

When I'm on mobile, my notifications are really screwy. Sometimes they are new, sometimes they are old ones that don't go away.
Except the guys are there to collect the tax on what you've won, immediately as you leave the studio. True story.
