oh yeah, I totally forget to tell you all this after the wedding last weekend. Or maybe I did but forgot.

So I knew the wedding wouldn't be super fancy but DH was kinda on the fence with black pants vs. khakis. Went with khakis.

Get to wedding and couple ahead of us get out and she's in a denim skirt and cowboy boots, not too bad. The guy though, is in denim bibs with his ANF scrubby hat on. Kicker was this guy probably wasn't yet 40. Who wears denim bibs to a wedding????????

Told DH welp, you're overdressed. Need to get him a pair of dress bibs.

Won't lie, kind of shocked DH doesn't already have a pair of dress bibs.

At my nieces and her hubby to be's medical school graduation at IC I wore the always cool blue blazer, wool khakis and cool Tommy B tie. I am sitting with future hubbies parental units (both doctors and both dressed up). I look around and there is guy sitting there in his Hawkeye tigerhawk t-shirt and overalls. Jesus, dude, this is medical school graduation*, you're not here to judge cows at the county fair. Guess after 40 years in the Twin Cities I am totes citified.

* Okay, granted the Carver School of Medicine is "technically" part of the University of Iowa, but come on, man.

Seared some animal flesh on the grill and some sweet corn. It was acceptable bachelor chow. Having a beer and thinking about renting Guardians 2 and catching some mini Groot. Cause not football. And Baby Groot.

just fyi, they wear black tie suits to judge cows at Expo. Even county fair is usually at least khakis and a blouse or button down.

MOAR FRIENDS?!

Ehhhhhh.....debateable.

DH would never wear bibs. Of any kind. Ever.

Though he did hike his pants up to his chest this morning to give me a glimpse of 85 year old DH in his highwater pants. Thinks it's always so funny to do that when I'm commenting on how hot he is.

Not. Having. Kids.

I ended up having to leave to take baby GTO to urgent care for a nasty ear infection when there were about 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter. You know how you sometimes think for a second "I can probably just wait until after the game"? Then baby GTO holds his ear and says "it hurt" and your heart just sinks for even considering finishing the game.

There are way bigger things than sports.

Finally calmed down some after the game. Time for observations poll...
