Reminds me I need to buy our tickets for the Cubs game when we are in Chicago. MrsWx has never really been there so I get to play mini tour guide. I suggest staying downtown. It will cost more but if you are spending multiple days down there it will save you a lot of time. Also don't park down there. Park at O'Hare and take the blue line in. Parking downtown is $50-$60 a day compared to $20 at ORD.

At Wrigley leave some time to just walk around the outside of the stadium. They just added a nice new outdoor area outside left field. If you are buying tickets I suggest something in the left field as you get the cool view of the stadium, city and lake. I wouldn't go up past the club seating though as you risk having pillars in your line of sight.

Also as long as you are smart with how you store things on your body you won't have issues with safety in touristy areas. Just like any city they know where the money is and keep those areas as safe as Nevada, Iowa.

I was able to get seats down the lower level right field line for $100.

Nice movie choices if sleep isn't happening

Lucky. When I flew to Manchester and back American was using old 757s with no internet and one screen every few rows. I just opted to sleep since I couldn't see the screen really so it wasn't worth it. I do believe they have since updated those planes.

Have a good flight and remember you are far from alone on your trek across the pond!
