CW is not working today -- so of course we got him.
When reached for comment, Brase said "I hated my entire visit. I had no desire to commit there. But at right around 1 o'clock this odd feeling came over me. I just had this compulsion to commit on the spot. Not exactly sure what happened..."
Still not confirmed from ISU. Probably still trying to figure out if he can get into a grad program.
I don't think it hurts at all. Would be like Holden if he doesn't pan out and won't hold up a scholarship for next year, and I truly think that is worst case scenario. If he can stay healthy it's a very solid addition. I think this is an indication we did not feel strongly enough about any of our other options for bigs. It wasn't our first option, but it isn't a bad get by any means.

So what do we do with the last one? Bank it and hope for another Deonte? Unless we have another Kane-level guy turn up, I would figure to save it.

At the least, this gets us on the inside track for any future German guys from Clover, South Carolina.

Without the knee injuries, I think there would have been a lot of high major schools all over him. The injuries make it a risk, but it's a low risk/high reward pick up.
Who cares what some idiot says? Transfers are part of the game today; hell how many did Kansas take this offseason? It's been proven to be effective; if Franny refuses to adapt to the times, then that's their problem.
