Well crap, Morrow would've been a great get. 4 star with 3 to play. I feel like we end up with a banked scholarship now.

Spring recruiting is a lot different than recruiting preps. If it doesn't improve it will be tough to have the consistent success we've enjoyed the past 6 years.
Prohm bashers from January are just eating this **** up. I already know what they'll be ******** about next winter.

Wait..... Nebraska has a basketball team? All kidding aside, oh well. I didn't even bother watching the kids highlights, that's how excited I was for a transfer from Nebraska basketball.. imagine everything prohm would have had to un teach him.

For who? Prohm did a great job with hs recruits but has done a pretty bad job with jucos and transfers
Relying on transfer recruiting no longer works - ISU needs to balance out the scholarships: 3 to 4 freshman a year and maybe one transfer. Sit out transfers would be my preference. Drawing a blank here, beside Kane have any other grad transfers been difference makers?

We all would have been happy if Morrow would have committed. But "missing" on Morrow has zero bearing on next season's record, which is all I can bring myself to care about in the year 2017. So Prohm and crew have plenty of time to fill the spot Morrow would have taken. And ... a lot of people seem to be underplaying the impact Lard could have. He's a wild card, and his development could get accelerated by throwing him into the fire. Good.
Race Thompson come on down, this actually makes it a bit easier to take both Beverly and Brase for this year, plus one more to wait and see on, maybe even until mid year. Morrow would have been a great pick up though,especially losing out on Juiston.
I think the whole plan is to NOT have to rely on spring recruiting. CSP has the ability to do that for a program.
Kind of depends you feel about BDJ's career a higher level compared to Fred's as a coach at a
higher level.

He's from Chicago. Maybe he preferred a larger city setting, especially after time in Nebraska.
Lol something is going on. Maybe our players recruited way more the last 3-4 years for us. Naz, Thomas, Morris, Burton and Niang were pretty high class guys to be around and all were very likable. We shouldn't be missing on all of our first option guys. Especially with what we have to offer them.
