I ran into a bunch of kids at a local sub shop who were competing in a robotic's club competition. Took them a solid half hour to order their subs. They seemed like they would quietly read for more than an hour.

I'll take one of those, please.

reading all these posts about early morning stuff for kids, is there like, a sport for your kids that involves waking up quietly at a godly hour and reading in their bed for a while? Cause I'm all for that.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! Hell CG even theatre, band, vocal and speech participant have lots of early practices and bus trip. My nieces left at 530am for state speech contest. If you chose wisely maybe your kids' school will be a host school. Then all you have to do is volunteer all day.

told DH a lifelong secret cause I'm a wee tipsy. He's looking at that reddit thing of people creating some **** or something. I was mad cause something I put a dot on was getting messed up by people. He's like well yeah, that's kinda the point, people messing with other people's stuff.

I'm like oh so this is like when I was five and at the beach and some older kid had made a big beautiful sand sculpture of a turtle...........and I went stomping all over it.

DH is like "you were a little ****".

Live right next to the school so the kid can get up and walk to school.

now see here, I was sorta one of those vocal kids and a few times a year I was up early and had to be driven somewhere earl and dropped off, well until I could drive at least. 4am-ish for district stuff. Parent probably went back to bed after dropping me off. My music lessons were in the afternoon though. Maybe by the time I get to that point I'll have gained back my ability to not hate 6am wakeups. DH has corrupted me, I swear. Wait, I know. He can just stay up and go drop kids at early morning stuff. I

I literally had to say "please use this time to read the menu, I have to get back to work."

I love when people can't figure out what they want at McDonald's or Subway type places. Their menus don't really change and it shouldn't take 10 minutes to figure out.

CG just made me realize how much my fall quarter during junior year kinda sucked. Monday through Friday I had physics at 7:30 in the morning. (Zero hour) I think the bus picked us up at 6:40. Saturdays were band competitons. If it was a night competition, we were still at the school by 8a for practice. And then Sundays, church...which meant being there around 9:15. So no true sleeping in for me.

Edit: Oh yeah. Happy birthday, Pants! :p

Moar movies.

If you don't like mornings, whatever you do, don't do hockey. Our friend's kids that do this are up super early or super late, sometimes for outdoor practices. Yuck!

Saw a big turtle walking across the walkway near my house yesterday. I did not go all CG on it. Just watched as it crawled in the pond.
