Mizzou

I'll almost guarantee the Iowa St game is sold out, and not because of Cyclone fans. I'm not saying Iowa St fans won't come, but it'll be full of Mizzou fans too. Missouri, just 4 years ago, had a very good team, with a passionate fan base, and I'm certain they will be back, especially for the first game of the season.
You overestimate Tiger fans.

100% agree being in the STL they are pretty much rejuvenated and it will also be the first game where they have tons more optimism. They game will be packed

Was it with 5 new starters and first game of the year. You are underestimating all that. I'm not saying we are going to be terrible next season, but we are going to be really really rough in November. This is a tough game to start out right away with next years team. Would rather play a few Prairie View A&Ms and Mississippi Valley States at home start out.

No idea, but that team was a McDermott team. Point is, one superstar does not make a huge difference.

No, I don't. I remember when they were a very good fan base. They had a very big rivalry with Kansas, more so than we do now. Missouri was very much a basketball school. Those fans haven't died, or moved on, they just didn't pay to watch a single digit win team.

I remember it too. It's no longer the case, and really hasn't been for nearly 15 years. Back when Norm was there most every ISU game I went to was great from an atmospheric perspective. By the mid to late 2000s it was not good. St Louis didn't care about MU even when MU had tournament teams. MU can maybe get back to OU level, but they're not a basketball school anymore.

You couldn't be anymore wrong.

Wow so this kid really doesn't give a **** about winning

Apparently you didn't, either! Doesn't really have anything to do with MU-ISU odds.

Yeah, generally you shouldn't talk smack about a team that will quite possibly beat us next year. They had a 4 year blip with a bad coach, but this isn't like football where it takes 4 years to build a program.

They could easily be a tourney team in the next 1-2 years with the talent Martin will bring in.

Do you realize we are walking into Columbia with a 9 game losing streak against them? We probably shouldn't act like they're an embarrassment to college basketball.
