Random Thoughts IX (The first 8 were probably better)

First time since Larry that we have a winning conference road record. I didn't like how it finished, but we found a way to win. That's what matters.

The 2 gallons of fluids a day is taking its affect in a few ways. My bladder now says it's tired and I think I may have drained the water tower with my bathroom runs. The achiness is mostly gone and I slept ok. My body seems to be regulating the temp and I woke up last night with my shirt drenched. Hope this all means I broke fever. State wrestling is fun but with 15000 people packed in, one sick person can spread crap fast.

Glad you're feeling better.

KC, is this the picture from JWalters? I couldn't get it to open in the other thread last nite. THANKS for posting it. Man Cass is going to be a sad little guy when "Uncle" Monte graduates. They get mentioned as a pair at least once a broadcast by JW and Eric.

Who is Cass?

So never been to Mexico why are Coatimundi so popular? They look like a cross between a fox and a raccoon to me.
Throw in an aardvark and you've described them well. I think they're so popular because they are really non-threatening animals and they are everywhere and just adapt to the resorts.

I bitched about this on Facebook not long ago. I'm fairly certain people in Minnesota don't even know this is a thing. I've probably already wasted 15 hours of my life since moving here by sitting at red lights I wouldn't be sitting at if people turning left just pulled forward.
I agree. If you're ever behind me, I'll guarantee you that I'm out in the middle of the road, probably with my wife in the passenger seat (native Minnesotan) telling me not to be so far out in the intersection.

My son jammed his finger during the first period of the basketball game on Saturday. He played his best game of the year and it turns out that he broke his finger. He'll miss baseball tryouts and two baseball academy sessions this week. Also, he'll miss the last regular season basketball game and, probably, the year-end tournament. he's most upset that the last basketball practice was supposed to be a parents vs. kids game. I think he wanted to push me around.

What type of dad are you? Rub some dirt on it, tape it up and turn him loose.

Sorry to hear that. Best to have your health for the long run. My dad didn't want me playing sports, (cut into farm work) so when I got hurt I wouldn't say anything and suffer through. I remember one time I had shredded both ankles so bad that I literally crawled around the house after he went to bed. I also broke my ring finger when getting class rings. The sizers said I was a 14-15 due to swelling. I used 10 1/2 and it was right. Don't have your son do what I did.
