We have shot under 40% for the game on 3 separate occasions in Big 12 play. We also made 11 3's in Waco. Baylor will likely win that game by 5-8 points.
So as I said, it was one of our worst shooting performances and the only thing that kept us in the game was our three point discrepancy. To say that we couldn't of played a better game is laughable. We shot like crap, rebounded poorly, and missed most of our FT's.
As I said before the Baylor game, our strength plays into Baylor's weakness and vice versa. I get everyone is down on this team right now for their lack of play, but if we play to our potential, we will beat Baylor at home.
If we can win out at home, we'll be in. 9-9 with a win over a highly ranked Baylor team will do it.
At this point, winning in Austin or at K-State will be nice but certainly not a resume builder.

K-State is one step from imploding after losing to TCU in Bramlage. It will be interesting to see if the Cats compete @ Baylor or simply tank. Ku and @ WVU follow.
I think my point is that our low shooting performance against Baylor 39% is not exactly an outlier at this point given the fact that in 33% of our conference games we have s hot below 40% from the field. Baylor also was 3-17 from 3 pt range in our game in Waco. If we play a near perfect game we could potentially pull an upset. If we play our average game then we will lose by 4-7 points. This team it was it is at this point and people who legitimately believe that we can beat a Top #10 squad based upon our performance against Kansas & West Virginia are kidding themselves and setting themselves up for another meltdown.

Facts? How can something be a fact if it hasn't happened yet? The fact is right now we are 5-4 in conference. If you say we will win 1 more or if I say we will win 4 more, thats called an opinion. You really need to learn the difference before trolling.
A prediction is based on facts, We are not playing well right now. We have seniors. That likely realize this is the last season they play at ISU and are going to give up as we are not going to the NCAA tournament. We have a coach who has failed at game situations. He will likely try crazy things the next 3 games and the players will be unable to implement. Then after that he will likely play the underclassman a lot to get some experience for next year.
