i dont think that everyone that follows the nba knew that wiggins lavine and towns would all be nba stars with the t wolves when fred took the bulls job.....i mean, just using a calendar shows that.Every single person who follows the NBA knew this.

agree with all, but I think fred didnt like recruiting, so Ive heard....prob from this board. Also, Im all about money grabsIm no nba fan but the bulls are top 5 in prestige, he got 25m, his life was altered by his heart condition so he wanted to go asap. Nothing is bad or hard to understand about that.
That said, it's probably easier to coach in college because you control who you recruit. Unless Fred can tell them who to draft or sign he can't make players into something they're not.

idk what youre trying to say in relation to my post...please explainGreat coach and young stars but the same results.
Fred didn't like the groveling to 17 year olds. He liked finding talent and putting pieces together. That's why he'll be front office sooner rather than later.agree with all, but I think fred didnt like recruiting, so Ive heard....prob from this board. Also, Im all about money grabs
And then he'll get another NBA job after that

And Hoiberg thought he was getting away from babysitting by going to the NBA. Wrong.
agree, ran isu like a GM bosssssFred didn't like the groveling to 17 year olds. He liked finding talent and putting pieces together. That's why he'll be front office sooner rather than later.
NBA coaching. Hire. Fire. Hire. Fire. Rinse. Repeat.
youre right, but they have obvious players that are a few years from being superstars. Name players that were stars for Minnesota. Love, starbury, Garnett. They all left, biggest piece is keeping them and as a non twolves fan, I think those guys might stay to play with each other.Wolves are garbage and have been garbage for the past 10 years. And before that they only made it to the conference finals once. I keep hearing how these guys are studs but their record shows otherwise.
Delusional ISU fans thought this for some reason to help cope.
There is absolutely nothing easier about being a head coach in the NBA than NCAA.
Fred knew it was a drastically tougher and more stressful job in every way and he wanted it.
well Isiah had the east coast funk dunk.....you cant defend that. Same with me and my brother who had bulls season tics under the basket forever (post jordan), i went for hoiberg and whenever they played the lakers.I hope they do stay. My dads company had season tickets so we to a lot of games. Except for Garnett and isiah rider (!!!) we always chose games based on a good opponent because we knew the wolves would lose.
It really sucks that we all pretty much called this. I'm sure he will coach another year or two, maybe lose in the first round of the playoffs a couple times, and then move onto front office work, eventually becoming a GM. This can't be good for his health.
