I did it a week ago. Got snow, hammer, marky mark and a few others. Must have been early 90s and dance music. Had grove is in the heart also, that song gets old after a couple minutes (did in the 90s also).

Informer, right? That was his only song that I can remember.

Rulzzz, I second the argument to start slowly and build up steam. If you're going to run, commit to the long game, and realize that there's plenty of time to build up your miles. I started running last year, starting off with the Couch to 5K program (google if you're unfamiliar with it-- it's very popular). Over nine weeks, it had me running every other day (walking/jogging at first). At the end of the nine weeks, I was able to run at a good pace for 30 straight minutes.

Since then, I now run just about every day. My usual daily run is 4 miles each morning, but I try to do a 6+ mile run each week. I still think back to when I started out a year ago, and my knees hurt after just a 10 minute walk/jog session. I guarantee if you follow your own pace, and let your body adjust, you will be rewarded.

c25k is how I got started as well. Great program.

Not exactly sure.
Wrestling meet tonight and then I have to get up at 3:30 to take my sister for her last treatment. Definitely not a morning person.

I had one last spring when I was going for my 8k. But I haven't kept up with it. I use Runkeeper now so most of what I would want is kept in that.

Maybe I'll do a mile in the gym after class tonight. Those 3 miles Saturday were so much harder than they should have been. Need to work on that.

Anyone want to drive me from the Quad Cities to Mpls? I like driving but could totally opt for a self-driving car today. Can probably drive the sloth out of me with some loud music and coffee but would rather nap in the passenger seat today. I am solar powered and it's gloomy poopie out there today.

Working out each day, Monday/Wednesday/Friday once and Tuesday/Thursday double (morning and afternoon). Coffee is my friend.

Sunny up here. You will get some solar power as you get closer to home.
Unfortunately, the temperature has dropped 18 degrees since I woke up this morning.

Membership requirements are simple: smile and nod when everyone else talks about running, power lifting, crossfit, and exercise in general.
:D

Separate thought: I stream KIOA (oldies station) at work. Great timing after the weed threads - they played "Wildwood Weed" a few minutes ago. First time I've heard that song in years...
