Troy Davis in the lots

looked over and saw my daughter playing soccer with her friends and a short little guy. Walked over and it was a Troy Davis. I have not noticed a thread on him yet unless I missed something

Was it a Troy Davis or THE Troy Davis? If it was Troy Davis, SE Polk gym teacher then it's not so cool.

I got my picture taken with Troy. My dad and I walked right past him and he said "Hi, how's it going?" with a big, gold-toothed grin on his face. I had to do a double-take - no way Troy Davis went out of his way to talk to me! He was so personable and looked legitametly happy to be in Ames. We chatted for a few minutes and he easily could have kept on talking to us. I saw him and Darren in the lots later after the game talking with some older fans and they talked to them for like 10 minutes. I still can't get over how happy they both seemed to be back in Ames.

You can betchur ass he wanted to be out there chewing up yards against that defense today!

It's too bad their younger brother never had the grades to play at ISU. Their older brother played at a small school in Iowa and was an All-American. One year they had two RB's make the All-American team, Eddie Davis and a friend of mine who was a freshman. Whatever school it was, it closed down or something and my friend transferred to a small school in Minnesota.

I hope the crowd gives Troy and Darren a standing ovation next weekend.

The Heisman is dead to me since TD got the snub. Joke of an award
U R so so right...Its a total joke because the winner always comes from the best team..... it should be called the best winners award...

That's what it really is...Just another hyped award to honor another winning est team....Individual award ...Oh Yeah Really...........NOT

Georges was there too. Daughter got pic with him.

Georges, Prohm, Naz, and i think a recruit were driving around on a cart before the game on north side of stadium. At least pretty sure it was Naz.

Troy not winning the Heisman was the biggest bunch of bs I've seen on live television. Being pretty young at the time it started to open my eyes to the big business side of football.

Are you sure Georges was there for SJSU? I didn't see him when they were doing the focus on the basketball team.

The Davis brothers seemed to be having a great time. The Georges/Naz express seemed to draw a lot of attention too.

Got my pic taken with the Davis Brothers before the game. They both seemed truly happy to be back in Cyclone Countrty and were really going out of their way to interact with fans. Pretty damn cool of them.

Yes, Georges was there. He was riding around on a golf cart with Naz and possibly one of the recruits before the game. He also was down on the field but I think he ducked out of the video feed when he realized that the recognition was more for the current players.
