I didn't mean that in the sense that I don't love AC/DC, I meant it in the sense that I really don't think it's going to be Thunderstruck.
Why? I just don't get this. What's going to get the players more fired up: a raucous crowd or a non raucous crowd but they get to listen to a song they like for 1 minute? Thunderstruck is a song that will appeal to a larger portion of the audience and and has a slow build with a malicious/unsettling tone AND it ties to our program perfectly. The only gripe anybody seems they can come up with is that the song is old. Who cares. Play a song from prehistoric times if it works.
The nice thing about that is EVERYTHING would be a new song. If he's like half the people in this thread he should love it.Do you live under the world's largest rock?
This is just silly. You seem to forget that a song that the players would like the students would like as well. If your basing it on the crowd, who do you think is going to make more noise, a student or a middle aged man? Look up other college football entrances such as clemson, virginia tech, Auburn, hell even iowa and tell me the players dont get into it which in return, gets the crowd into it.Why? Something more appealing to 16-22 year old dudes would have been a smarter choice here.
Disregard Manatee then.I didn't mean that in the sense that I don't love AC/DC, I meant it in the sense that I really don't think it's going to be Thunderstruck.
Kids these days would probably want the entrance song to be a sappy Drake song or maybe walk out to this:Not us old farts' fault today's youth SUCKS at writing music. WTF is the team supposed to enter to? ****ing Kanye West? Katy Perry? **** that. Play something with adrenaline and ****ing balls. ACDC will do.
Yeah I was just going off of the report by WRNL. I have no big time sources. I feel like Thunderstruck would be a solid song. Probably some others that would be better tooI'll believe it when I hear it.
