So - good news, meniscus is (mostly) still intact since the repair last December. Bad news is significant amount of new damage from arthritis on the femur cap - this is AFTER he had smoothed some of that out while he was in there in December. Looks like a knee replacement is in my future...but hopefully not until after I retire and have the time and ability to heal & rehab properly. In the meantime...I won't be passing any drug tests for sports in the near future 'cause my knee is full of cortisone. Yowch!!!
Hopefully the cortisone will help

Mylan CEO Heather Bresch is blaming pharmacy benefit managers and wholesalers for the 600+% increase in the price of the EpiPen? Americans aren't that stupid.

GTO - Please tell me this isn't one of your clients. If so, you have the toughest job in the country and I feel for you.
It is not one of ours. Wholesalers? Please, we sell pretty much every drug at acquisition cost. The markups actually happen at the manufacturer or at the pharmacy, not at the wholesaler. People that don't know will probably believe her lying ass.

Selling at acquisition cost doesn't sound like a good business model. Wouldn't want to be on commission in that business.

Drug wholesalers mostly operate on margins, payment terms, and services. Basically they purchase the drug from the manufacturer at 2% discount off-WAC and sell at WAC (wholesale acquisition cost). Rest of the money is made on chargeback services, float cash, GPO contracts, etc. Small margins/high volume.

Just got a bill for $800 from a plumber (must be that day). Called him and asked where it was put. (Sometimes employees call in repairs and don't tell me). Plumber doesn't remember where or if he did it. Has to ask the owner.

Clearly I am not well-versed in this sort of business language, because I have NO idea what most of that is!
We perform a service, people pay us for that service, we take our salaries & pay for our supplies out of that income. Straightforward. Bada Bing Bada Boom.

I guess getting his picture taken is not something that Glover is getting too old for.

FYI, if you do BBQ in KC, be sure to hit Joes KC (formerly Oklahoma Joes), the original one in KCK. Also, Q39 and SLAPS are solid as well. Arthur Bryants and Gates have a following since they have been around for a long time, but there are better places IMO.

Yes, we ate at Slaps....also good.
