Freshmen thread.
the hawk fans in ISR don't bother me. It's the one's who act like they're ISU fans even though they obviously aren't and post stupid troll threads that should be banned on the spot.

CG, there's one on NBC then there's a different one when wacthing Brewers games, so I always have 2 phone numbers stuck in my head. They both advertise the bundle but for different prices. One is $29.99 and the other is $19.99.

One of the songs my parents tortured me with on road trips.

My kids have now threatened to put together a playlist of bad music that I make them listen to. So far that consists of Van Halen, AC/DC, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Buffett, Tom Petty, REM, U2 and especially the Beastie Boys.

Heck I'd road trip to that play list.

Flashback!
My ex had a PhD but all of his reading & study still never compensated for the fact that he was an atrocious speller. "Commercial" was one that he NEVER got right. He spelled it like you did here (although yours is probably a typo).

I'm tired, I'm not worried about spelling right now. I do always type the i before the c though in commercial, but I usually catch it.

Damn. Co-worker of mine's 15-month old daughter just got diagnosed with Leukemia. She was just born 2 months before my son. Incredibly sad.

Boo that news. Good luck to them kicking it's ass.

Now there is a slew of Beatles songs battling to get stuck in my head on the same day that MPR played Paperback Writer on their morning show.

Also flashbacks to CWW#1 playing Norwegian Wood on her 12 string Gibson back in the day in Linden Hill.

Funny - since yesterday I've had Dionne Warwick's greatest hits playing in my head - Trains and Boats and Planes, Walk on By, and Theme from Valley of the Dolls (Which was actually a double A side - with I Say a Little Prayer).

Besides the one previously mentioned - that I often change to "Santa Fe" - fits perfectly.

The older I get the worse my spelling gets. My biggest troubles are refrigerator (I always want to put a 'd' in there - like in the shortened version - fridge).

And arrangement - where I want to put an 'i' after the second 'a'.

yeah I keep seeing the singing one.

And THAT thought has never crossed my mind. I've been propositioned (when I lived in the East Bay and worked in SF) but aside from the fact that I was already married, my response was "I'm flattered, but I'm not interested."
When the Dedric Willoughby teams were playing in the NCAA's I went with a group to watch one of the games at a dive sports bar in Minneapolis. This one guy kept following me into the bathroom and after about the third time he started to strike up a conversation. The next time I went in he told me I had a nice, athletic build. That's not generally something you want to hear when you're standing in front of a urinal in a men's room.
