Mine doesn't look like that. More like a Collie/Lab mix

Have you tried the fire method? Burn something and search through the ashes for the remote.
Once you find it, stop the burning and watch TV.

I suppose that COULD work. Or if it doesn't I could immediately flip to the flood method. Spray water on everything (which would also put out the fire) then paddle around on top and see if the remote floats up to me.

Dog or cat probably ate it.

I don't have a cat, unless it's invisible.

Doubt if the dog ate it. She's by far the pickiest-eater dog I've ever seen. She literally will NOT eat a hot dog because it's too big. It has to be cut up into smaller pieces. So she's not gonna eat a remote the size of foot-long hotdog including the bun.

BC how did the boat ride a t the lake go today?

Heres how it started will let you guess the rest. Show up and back the boat down the landing. Unhook it and hand the front rope to my daughter and the rear rope to my youngest, water pushing in fairly strong. I pull the trailer out and park it. Come back to get on the boat and back it down the dock to load everyone. I push it out about 6 inches so it would stay away from the dock. Put one foot on the boat and realize it's moving out quicker than I like, I try to pull it back in with my foot. I hear commotion behind me and see my oldest kid trying to lasso the boat hook with the rope. I do the only thing I can at the point. Empty my pockets and jump into the water before the rear end swings around too.much.

My daughter's friend also noticed we had a stowaway. A mouse is on the boat, so I threw some bait in it when I got home and hopefully it's hungry.

Shoulder still bugging you?

Pretty much everything.

Dug up a storm drain that was plugged with roots and dirt. Got halfway done building a flagstone pathway. Shoved up all of the walkway path mulch the storm washed away, respread that and new mulch. Climbed up on the roof and cleaned off the storm downed branches and sweep the roof. Too much for one afternoon for an old man.
