Emmanuel Malou thread

This. When he asked me if I could send him the highlight tape we discussed what would be the best way to send it and he decided it would be easiest if I texted it to him. A week later he texted me saying Happy Birthday. It's not like I'm out here begging him for info. It's hard to post anything on this board anymore without people ripping on you or questioning your information. It's kinda sad. I try to share some info and get made fun of for it.

Don't take it too seriously. We all joke with each other. That doesn't mean we don't like your inside information. Just take it as a compliment that someone thinks you have so much info that they are kidding you about stalking.

Don't be discouraged. It happens to everyone of us. At least you weren't accused of being a Hawk troll. That's my all time least favorite. CF marches on.

I appreciate the inside info and the highlights you make from the CCL

Malou has filed paperwork to enter 2016 draft. He's without an agent right now. Doesn't look good. SIAP

Emmanuel Malou just filed paperwork to enter the 2016 draft per Alex Halsted on twitter. Has not hired an agent.

I really can't say I feel good about the chances of the NCAA clearing him, but I hope we get to see this next year. He's got some impressive guard skills for a 6-9 player. (I know it's just a workout with no defender but it still excites for me next year IF he's cleared.)

If he has to spend another semester at DMAC in the fall to get his grades in order can he start at the break?

If that's what he needed (or more summer classes at DMAC) I don't think there's anything preventing that, but that wouldn't do anything to solve his NCAA issues related to his time clock.

I don't know.

Based on what I read he will have his aa by August.

Question is when they will start his clock. And then what else the ncaa tries to dig up. My best guess would be four years ago giving him one year left. They could try appealing for a sixth.

How does the NCAA have the time/manpower to investigate every player?

How do they even know who is who? Can't ISU (or whoever) just say he went to community college for two years and then stop at that?

That's a good question about the time/manpower. Yet, some things they rule on right away and even reverse at times, all in a shorter time period than some of these other matters.

Well they can ignore everyone from the Blue Bloods and really focus on everyone else. That probably helps

Most cases are really straight forward because when you're dealing with accredited US high schools, then it's usually just a matter of looking at the transcripts and confirming their ACT/SAT scores. This is totally different.

My guess is that 5-10% of these players tie up half their time.
