Ooo another FB hoax spreading around.

Just giving everyone fair warning . . . . . Almost all the accounts are being hacked. The profile picture and your name are used to create a new face book account. And then they want your friends to add them, your friends think it's you and accept. From this moment, the pirates can write what they want under your name!! ..... I want you to know I have NO plans to open a new account, so please do not agree to a 2nd invitation from me!! Copy this message on your wall so that all your friends will be warned! Do not forward or press share. Hold your thumb down on the text until the word "copy" appears and touch the word "copy". Next go to your status. Press at the curser and when "paste" appears, touch the word. Next, press "post. Thanks!

Is scouting out hog farms really "work"?

Naw, this was legit actual work. Well, I mean an industry group meeting, but it was actually a very good and informative thing, plus I got to see another company that does our work, saw pro's saw con's.

Plus, the best part, got home before the kiddos were asleep, so I got to give them both a hug and kiss...which I was worried I'd get home too late.

Free Comcast watchathon time. Just watched Ant-Man. I was VERY entertained. In supporting role Michael Peña as Luis was a hoot. The final scene was funny enough to replay three times.

What's up, players? What did I miss the past couple of days? Yesterday I spent some time trolling the Moody thread, but git tired of it. Have been operating on 3-4 hours of sleep a night for about 3 weeks. Two more nights of finishing up some ******** reports and should be back to a normal sleep schedule.

Lawman: is there really such a thing as a favorite property case?
I did like the one's which took place in Iowa just because it's my home state. Also, juicy whip inc vs. orange bank inc because of the name, and Pierson v. Post because one of the judges was funny.

Sounds serious. Next thing you know, the post office will tax every one of these pirated e-mails.

just did 4.5 in the rain - 10:40!!! I'm so excited that I cut 1:20 off my pace AND added distance. Left foot feels like it's getting a sore spot or like the humidity from the rain caused the bottom to rub a bit. It almost looks like something was maybe in my shoe? It isn't puffy like a blister but it's right between the ball and the arch.........I'm like please don't get a ouch spot there with 10 days to go.

I always have to watch it when my shoes get wet because my sock tends to bunch up a bit and I don't notice it. It took a few blisters to catch on.

Good news! On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being he won't make it he is a 1! It could be a year but they think he will get close to normal.

fantastic!

Next time you run in the rain make sure you wear your galoshes.

Top Secret. Love that show.

Feel like I'm bringing my parenting A game tonight. Blasting inappropriate songs in the van with the kiddos. Dinner for the kids was their choice so cheddar Pringles and Cocoa Pebbles.

Even better news! After pretty much sleeping for two days, not progressing, not opening his eyes and hardly being able to sit up on the side of the bed. He woke up over night and was sitting out in the hall with nurses talking when his parents got there this morning!!!!!!!!

Excuse me while I do a happy dance.

I'll help! Sometimes it feels like they prepare you for the worst...and then the joy is 10x, 100x, 100000000000x greater when things are far better than they feared. I'm happy for you, for your friend, for his family.

Well there is that and the fact that the Dr. who gave them the diagnosis (which is correct) was a resident who no bedside manners and did it right in front of him which they thought was agitating him. His dad wants to speak with that resident now as they were understandable in shock at the time.

Thanks for all of your thoughts/ prayers and letting me vent. Him and I have been best friends since preschool so we are as close to "brother from another mother" as it can get. As much as we get after each other at times I am grateful for all of you all have listened to me vent and ***** a lot the last year and half.

Well, the closest you can get to a brother from another mother involves your dad and his mom....

:pwink: I keed, I keed.

Glad to hear good news, thought you could use the laugh.

Bedside manner is a skill that some people get better at with practice. Sometiimes freshly minted doctors are too eager to show their understanding, and don't realize that the patients and families are more emotionally invested than clinically. I hope they explain to him/her how his/her presentation impacted them so that s/he can learn from the experience and do better with future patients.

Flip side - some doctors NEVER develop that skill. They should opt for being pathologists. :)

so this company website thingy we are supposed to use got an update and now they are setting it as your homepage when you open a browser. Probably to force people to at least see it since no one ever used it. It's only for IE (God knows what versions, probably like only through 6) so I don't really care because I use Chrome for everything I can. Anyway, a couple work things I need to get into can only go through IE. So I go to that this morning thinking hey I'll see the new home page.

Nope. I get some security error about it trying to go to an intranet "do you accept yes/no". So I say yes and it just pops up again. It's an endless loop. They've got our security settings set so tightly that their own home page can't even load.

He is doing a damn fine job of getting me to keep going to the heart of the death star.

Just go on their website and click on the help tab.

meh. It's amusing to me that they are trying to get everyone to look at this new site and it won't even work with the limits they have on our settings. I can still get to what I need on IE so I don't really care I guess. Someone will eventually tell them though I would think this should have come up in testing. I could send in a help ticket but generally I avoid dealing with our IT whenever possible. Especially now that my fave help person left because of how things were being managed in that realm. And they weren't the only one who did so.

The Boxster Nieces vs. Pants/55 will likely be a good one someday.
