Congrats Coach Prohm!

Great job Coach Prohm! The vast majority of cyclone fans know the tough situation you are in, and think you have handled everything so well. Blessed that you are our coach! Go State!

I'm almost a little sad that there will be so many Hoiberg references over the next week (because it sort of overshadows what Coach Prohm has done), but in reality, he built the team to be in the position they are in now.

I thought this season would be remembered for who our coach WASN'T.

But now with the sweet 16 birth and potential for more, I think this year will be remembered for who our coach WAS, and how even though our team had a lot of adversity, we were able to fight through and have a successful season while living up to the post 2014-15 prognostications.

Thank you Coach Prohm and the rest of the staff.

Now- to Chicago and on to HOUSTON!

Let's go Cyclones!

All that turmoil, all those tough losses, that has all led us to this moment. Guys are better because of it.

Give Prohm a couple of years to settle into his routine with his own players and I think he's going to do a great job. He was a heck of a hire and will continue to do a fantastic job at Iowa State. I have faith in him.

Prohm getting this team to play slower has been huge. This team is WAY more patient than they were in past years. He's realized how good our half court offense is and with the lack of depth, it helps our defense and rebounding to play slower. The shot selection we've had in the last few weeks is better than it was during Hoiberg's time. Forced 3's early in the shot clock have almost completely gone away and our FG% has sky rocketed because of it. 78 pts. against that team, at that pace, with very little fast break points is unreal.

Yep...Prohm totally changed how this team played on offense and also on D...he also changed the mentality of this team late..M so happy for him and these kids.

We didn't have much of a half-court offense in December. Coach has really implemented his schemes well. Congrats Coach; Beat Ginny !!!

When his voice broke a little in the locker room after, my happy tears came. So happy for coach and our team.

Agree with all of the above. Just to show how different a coach he is, when Burton made the bone headed non-slam, CSP did not bench him right away. Most coaches would have; heck, I would have. But he reads his players differently and treats them differently. And the players respect him for it. Plus he never gave up on these guys, when many other people did. Thanks coach. Good luck in Chicago.

And thanks to the Hoiberg family for supporting the team in Denver. That was a very classy act, from a very classy family.
