Whoever made that account should be embarrassed.

#righttoknow apparently to him and the rag that trumps right to privacy. I for one don't think we have the "right to know" about tommy or this. But I hate that they all ***** and whine when someone doesn't answer a question but refuse to ask or cover their own stories. It is shameful really, for the media. I think it is fair game.

Exactly. Prohm is not any more a public figure than Register writers. The public ( not media members) decides what info they want. The media tries to get the info. Maybe people want to know why a guy who tried to hire a prostitute still has a job. It's a fair question. Too bad the media doesn't try and figure out.

Don't group me with that. I'm simply in the camp that we don't know Prohm that well and none of us know what happened or is continuing to happen. All we know is that in the loss before the suspension Jameel had horrible body language down the stretch. Nobody knows more than that really.

I don't get the people who automatically think Prohm is being brilliant here when there's no information to assess. To have 2 game suspension, back, then a one game suspension...I would hope Jameel is really screwing up in some significant way but it seems none of us will ever know. That combined with a new coach means how is anybody so sure if anything is being handled correctly.

Because we KNOW JM is a head case since he has displayed it. CSP gets the benefit of the doubt since he has never displayed anything crazy that I know of.

That whole thing was months ago. Why that still matters to anyone is beyond me. He made a mistake and everyone has moved on, aside from a handful of posters on here, apparently.

He didn't make a mistake so much as get caught. YYUUUGGGGEEEEEE difference.

yeah, McKay would have made the difference between.....

Oh, wait, we won.....

Why did we need him, again?

Because had we scored more meaningless points that had no bearing on winning the game and had a larger margin of victory, our kenpom ranking would be better.

Lol...this season...wow.

On track to win 10 conference games and if we could steal one at WVU that would be (hmm, carry the 1, denominator divisible by 2, hmmmmm) 11 conference games. Would put us pretty much where all the league coaches thought we would end up and they are WAY more knowledgable about ISU basketball than the wisest of anonymous chat board posters.

Umm... id say one of the highest paid state employees is a bit more of a public figure than a random reporter at a paper hardly anyone pays for nowadays anyway.

If it was an attitude thing And if it was *minor* it's the fact that he probably did something stupid a week after his suspension and days after a players only meeting where they allegedly figured things out.

I'm hoping they were resting his knee but he's had enough rest the past few weeks and he wasn't exactly animated on the sidelines.

His body language on the bench tonight suggests to me it's not his knee keeping him out tonight.

My post was more about all the **** surrounding the program and the over-emotional response from the fan base...so your response dovetails perfectly.

Well yeah, but I can tell you this we definitely needed him tonight. So either it is one of those two or Prohm is a bad coach for not recognizing McKay could have helped us tonight.
I don't like how Prohm is handling this at all. It looks more like Prohm would like to sabotage the season so he doesn't hear "that was fred's team" when they do well. As we all know Prohm will be judged on the next 3 years with his class and it will not look good if his best year was with fred's guys. A bad way to look at it as a coach but from what I see and hear his decisions have not been good or justified when you are talking about kids and the way they may act in college.

He's trying to sabotage the success of the team? Where do you guys come up with this crap?

How come we aren't seeing these issues with all the players? Seems like it is only a few, and is explained by a coach leaving/new attitude.

I wouldn't do it. But Tommy is a public figure who was arrested for a crime. I'm not sure why he shouldn't expect people to ask about it.
"Asking about it" is different than tweeting "HOOKERS" at him. I mean, come on.

Prohm didn't solicit a prostitute. The issue is whether Mckay/Birch did and if Prohm /Rag should have to talk about how they are dealing with it.

I dont really think they are comparable.

Most of us have given thousands to a program that Prohm coaches and Mckay plays for. Plenty want to know what the deal is with McKay tonight.

I dont think most people have invested in Birch or the register in any serious way and dont really give a damn what he does in his personal life.
