BDJ

He had all the talent in the world but a complete headcase. Fred managed to get productivity out of Royce White; he couldn't reach BDJ. Looking at this...

Damn. I would have taken that stat-line in Ames. No problem.

The guy from the first third of last season was pretty awesome, too...

(the Iowa game was between Southern and Drake)

He plays like that into the conference season... and, remember, he had some of his best games against Arkansas, Georgia State, and Maryland, all of which were tournament teams... and we can probably pick up 1-2 wins in conference and, of course, UAB might end differently.

That's an all-conference player up there. Add another one with Niang, a second team with Monte, third with McKay, all-defense with McKay, and honorable mentions... yikes.

Glad to see he's doing well with the Pelicans, but we've seen incredible flashes in the pan with him before that end poorly, for whatever reasons.

Pretty slick play from BDJ last night at 2:03 in the video

umm a lot of baggage. I wished him well at ISU and enjoyed watching him. But our best-played game was @ Iowa with him back in Ames.

And his cancerous attitude during the UAB game was a disaster. If you don't think he adversely affected our team that game you're naive

On the positive side, the best thing for Abdel Nader was for BDJ to skip out of Ames permanently
Don't forget he also didn't play the whole second half of the Oklahoma game with the big comeback. It wasn't a coincidence the team was at their best with him on the bench.

Fans need someone to blame for the UAB loss. And it certainly can't be Fred or the current players, so they settle on BDJ.

People aren't blaming Fred? Once it was found out he had one foot out the door, I thought people were pointing to it as a possible root cause.

Sshhh, you don't want to get one poster riled up here.

With Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans out with injuries, BDJ has been starting for New Orleans tha last few games. He played 43 minutes Thursday night against the Lakers, had 17 points and 9 rebounds. He will be starting again tonight against the Cavs. I have to admit that last year at this time, I didn't really see him starting against Kobe and LeBron.

Strange times since it is an election year. Go BDJ.

40% 3pt on season from NBA deep.

He still got more national TV exposure leading ranked ISU statistically in non-conf then flaming out toward the end than he would have on a joke UNLV team. In the end he made a lot of bad decisions in college but coming to ISU probably wasn't one.

His pro success has nothing to do with the exposure he got from ISU or UNLV.

They have 4 kids in the NBA to our 1, and have a rich history with pro players so your theory seems like a stretch to me.

I can't say I saw him starting in the NBA this year, but he clearly had/has talent, which made it even more frustrating last year.
