Carol Hoiberg Retweet

It sounds like Paige made the right choice for her and is enjoying her college experience. How is anyone upset over that?

If anything, this article made me jealous that her last name got her an on campus, (likely) 4 year job with a blue blood program and future HOF coach. That's pretty awesome.

Only reason Self has her going there is because he wants the Hoiberg twins to go there in 6 years. And to be honest I wouldn't be shocked if they were steered that way either.

JSB and this guy would be a match made in heaven.

I am happy she is doing what she wants. I don't blame her one bit for wanting to go somewhere else than Hoibergland, especially considering she knew he would leave to the nba soon as well.
But... I am disappointed that she opened herself and family to a propoganda tool to troll ISU fans. She is just a student, what other point is there to write a full article about her? None

by then, Fred will be back coaching college at either duke or unc, so they'll end up there.

I see from the comments below the article that Paige did follow in a parent's (her mom) footsteps in choosing to be a Chi-Omega, so at least my wife will like seeing that. No, I'm not a stalker. My wife was Chi-O and has fully alerted me that Carol was a Chi-O too. If you haven't married a sorority girl, they tend to catch and remind you of stuff like that no matter how much or how little you give a crap (Full disclosure: I don't, I wasn't even greek). If you guys like giving me a hard time about having a little school pride, you really need to rail on my wife about her XO pride. I'd appreciate that.

I guess I'm disappointed anyone on this site would view her going to a different school and writing a human interest story about it as propaganda. I feel like large swaths of ISU fans are stuck 500 years ago thinking the universe revolves around us.

hopefully not. But I won't be the one ******** every time we lose. The same people that ***** about me, will kill prohm every time his teams lose.

I haven't ******* about Prohm once this season. I have and will continue to ***** about you, though, because this Hoiberg/scorned lover schtick you do is annoying as ****.

Oh so it's just a simple human interest story about someone with the most interesting story and no level of sticking it to ISU and their fans? Like I said, happy she is living her life the way she wants and is happy. Its just a weird feeling.

I just think it's bizarre she wanted to go to Kansas. Is there a program she liked there that no other in state institution offers? I just don't get it... I also don't know why I care as much as I seem to.

She can go where she pleases. I guess I don't get why Carol would bring attention to the story. She had to know it would upset some ISU fans.

Have you been to KU's campus? I think ISU is second to none, but KU has an absolutely gorgeous campus. Throw in maybe a good fit in her major or something and that can be a good reason why someone may pick a school.

From a Cyclone perspective, it's the second worst choice besides AIB Iowa City, but it's her life and she can pick her school for whatever reason. The mentioning of Weatherwax is what makes the article reek of K-Boo BS.

I think the point is that there was no way that she would have been able to have a normal college life had she stayed in state.

You realize it was written by a KU writer for a KU website, right? It's a little odd, irrelevant twist to the KU-ISU rivalry. That ISU fans have their knickers in a twist about it highlights why she was right to get out of Iowa. No way people would have left her alone had she stayed.

I bet jsb has a Fred shrine in her closet, complete with real Hoiberg hair clippings.
