Yeah we should go back to Cardinal and Navy blueThe Cardinal in our colors isn't bad..it's the Gold that is terrible...or McDonald's yellow I should say. A true Notre Dame gold looks good with Cardinal red not yellow...that would solve a lot of our uniform problems. Our I State logo isn't changing...ever. That's the logo and brand moving forward and it ain't changing. Black Unis and helmets with real gold and Cardinal trim would look incredible IMO. And the logo would really pop. Also..it is beyond ridiculous that we don't use white helmets with all white Unis for road games. Looks so much better.

Those black unis posted a page back...the university has specifically written rules that black is not to be used with our logo which from what I understand from a friend who makes apparel, they take pretty seriously. I would highly doubt with that rule, they would give us black unis....However, with that being said, I have seen black sweatshirts and t shirts which makes me wonder how they got it approved.

I think it is funny people keep saying this, but i have seen plenty of black ISU gear. Let alone the current football coach is using a black background for his Istate logo as his twitter avatar.
