While I agree with your general idea, I think you're going to end up weeding out too many dumb people that might overpay for the car.

When I was selling my furniture before moving here, I'd have them give me their name so I could Facebook stalk them first. It's not the end all to be all, but it was a good gauge at least. Give their name to CG and she can probably get you their whole bio within an hour. She found me within 15 minutes of me challenging her that she couldn't.

so over the holiday we discovered some cash given to me in a card several years ago by family members I do not like. They used to do checks, which I would never cash.

So I got to thinking what I should do with it. Decided I should donate the money to something I want to support but they would hate it being used for. So I'm looking around and I see you can make donations in honor of someone and then it sends them a little card.

There is much temptation.

If they have strong political affiliations, just donate to the other party in their name. Then have them send a 'thank-you for the donation card' to their place of employment.

haha. I've thought about splitting it up and either getting a card from one org sent to like 6 people who would hate it, or pick like 5 different places to donate to and have cards sent to various people.

People should do this instead of the flaming bag of dog poo thing. Hate giving, we could call it.

I can definitely guess the affiliation, thought about that too. Or even donating and having a card sent to a politician. You can do that too.
