We had some friends over last night. Christened the house with Makers Mark shots.
Talked with friends at Church today a couple of the guys mentioned how they like bicycling. So my wife chimed in that I like to as well. I do but haven't done it much the last few years. I think she is trying to set me up.
Tonight we went to a friend's grandmother's visitation. We knew we were in the right place when we saw the Mercedes and Audis.

The second time in the last few months I've had someone come up to me at a church thing and know me, but I had no idea who they were, and I went to grade/high school or both with them.
I mean, I think I should kind of get a little excusing since I don't expect to run into people from back home at my current church, but I kind of feel dumb. If neither of us recognized each other, I would understand, it's been 20 years since I've seen either of them, but both knew who I was. Today, I noticed the guy looking at me, and was thinking "why are you staring at me????" without any idea I knew him. I mean, once he said his name, I could see it, but not until then.
Funny you say that. These two other couples that my wife is wanting to become good friends with are actually clients of her daycare. One husband and wife (couple 1) are high school sweethearts (basically same story as us just five years older) the wife of couple 2 apparently went to high school with couple 1 and they had a similar situation to yours one day when picking kids up.
Then we were standing there this morning and the husband in couple 1 turns to us and asks "have you guys met couple 2?" Apparently their new born is not sleeping well.
Seven hours of high-pitched shrieking 6 & 3 year olds yesterday. Woke up early (around 4) with a migraine, took meds, went back to sleep. Haven't felt terribly chatty.
Side note. Overheard mother of shriekers tell her sister that when she gets tired of the shrieking, she puts her headphones on & listens to Pandora cranked up. Whiiiiiiiiich pretty much explains why PapaLew & auntie and I were unable to explain the use of "inside voices" to them. Oy.
I'm guessing a week w/Papalew&KC, they could learn all about inside voices. I had a nephew that wouldn't chew with his mouth closed, it took me a few warnings and then reaching across the table to close it for him but he learned.

It says 2nd round is on Friday. I just assumed Saturday. Friday is no good either, sister has a game.
It appeared as though everyone was married. They are all Lebanese so you would have to be ready to eat.
I keep trying to follow jsb around and ask her about how she was adamant we'd be hiring a position coach as our new head coach, but she keeps avoiding it whenever I, or someone else, asks her.

Woo lives here though, but he's a busy lawyer guy. End of semester for peeps in school, I think.
