I'd rather hear the Husker fans than EIU fans. Imagine CF if they win...their trolls will be all over this thing.

I can't ever bring myself to cheer for the Huskers. Growing up in western Iowa, in the Omaha media market, all I ever had to hear was how crushing every single loss during the TO era was and how every win was one step closer to a national championship. I would rather cheer for Iowa. Call it what you will, but **** Nebby.
You can always remain neutral for the Nebraska/Iowa game and just cheer really hard for Michigan State next week. That way you don't have to feel so dirty and the Hawks still won't make the playoffs.

I live in CR and all i can hear is how "iowa is going to the college football playoffs" or "iowa is gonna win it all." I usually find that when im arguing with them that i know more about their team then they do but that doesn't stop the ignorant comments. So it pains me to say this but GO Big RED!
Yeah! Why anybody would be excited for their favorite team playing for a national championship is beyond me.
Me? I'm very stoic regardless of wins or losses. Heck, I only smiled on my wedding day to look good in pictures.

Deep down I think this is probably right. But for Iowa to lose their chance at the CFP in a loss to the Huskers is just the kind of human drama that will make people watch, despite their general feelings of ill will in both directions.
