Maureen was one of my favorites, though. Any woman who could stand toe to toe with some of the most macho stars of her generation and hold her own is someone to admire. :)

Eastern Iowa is such a **** hole. Visited some friends in CR this weekend who wanted to check out the Kalona Brewery. CR is bad enough, but having to drive from CR through North Liberty, Iowa City, and Coralville was vomit-enducing. That whole part of the state either looks like a rundown rust belt factory town or a city-less suburb full of Applebees and those beige boxes on culdesacs.
 
Pete did a hell of a job covering the game from his tv and radio yesterday. Maybe he doesn't need a press pass.

Opened package and am feeling the Amazon Prime love. Bike pants fit perfect and I am out of excuses for not biking this afternoon in the cool but still mild fall weather. These things were a deal at only 40 Konas*.

Comments section proved invaluable. Seller sizing guide indicated M for me but everyone in comments said go up a size or two as this Asian origin wear was "small". So 5'-9" skinny/fat man is a LARGE and not that many pounds from XL for this weird sizing.

I don't order from Amazon enough to make it worth having prime.

Maybe that is your issue. ;) We have had 100 orders in the past 10 months through Amazon prime and not a single shipping issue. I have an item I need to return. Boxed it right up in the same box, printed a UPS shipping label, and sending it back to Amazon free of charge.

Maybe you can split the cost with Chaser and both use it. You used to be able to "share" your membership with "household" members. The main account holder gets the benefits of streaming/kindle/music but lots of people split the cost this way. I have my sisters and MIL on my account. You can't see any of their info/orders.

Just throwing that option out there if you know people who would split a membership with you (if it is still set up that way).

Pretty sure it is. I know Mrs.00 is on mine, set up different so we can order gifts for each other, but my prime is shared with her.

When I was studying in Freiburg, two of my classmates started dating and we thought they were a terrible fit and wouldn't last. They just got engaged yesterday.
