played first all year and that was the first time someone wanted to cut through the base like that. Doesn't matter, they played like dicks and lost.
At first you have the right to the inside corner of the bag.

Rabbuk be right but I didn't want to ruin your rant. Not familiar with dodgeball terminology What do you mean the guys walk all the way up to the line when your girls bat? What line?

Unless you're making a play at the bag, he is right to tell you to move. Unless the play is at first. Which it is as I reread.

wait, so I did or did not have to move? I wasn't trying to be in his way, to be clear, I just didn't know how far behind me the ball was, so I stayed with one foot on my half. If I had been at second or third, yes, I would have gotten off the base so he could run through. But I didn't think (and no one had this year) they would run overtop of me, because they have to touch their half and logistically, it's just easier then to run at that angle. I think what he was trying to do was cut the corner and only touch my half.

Found a pic! So he had to touch the right half of the base, I was on the left. So maybe that makes it more clear. I thought they'd just keep running the outside of the line.

"Defining*Theft in Iowa. Under*Iowa*law, a person commits*theft*when he or she does any of the following: takes possession or control of another person's property with intent to deprive the person of that property."

You could probably also add trespassing and obstruction of the roadway.

If the runner is going to second, he would be able to use the white bag. Unless there is a play at first base, you should've moved.

Yeah well I'm actually going to go to college

You've got your work cut out for you then. I'm predicting a semester, maybe two (the second one on academic probation) followed by a couple of years at a community college before you give up and join the Army.

the bunt line for the guys, they can't cross that line until the pitch is kicked or something like that. So instead of playing between 2nd and 3rd and 1st and 2nd, they send those people up to the line.

You can easily add those and probably vandalism.
