I feel like I've been inactive for the last three weeks. This customer is killing me with like 60 hour+ weeks
It could have also been in one of the farming threads. For some reason I seem to remember him saying he's a rich black farmer specifically.

I wish I could argue this point, but I really can't. about 10 years ago my sisters & I got a computer for our father for Christmas. We struggled to teach him how to use it. Keep in mind, this man helped put men on the moon...and he couldn't figure out email.
I have learned a lot over the years...new programs, new technology. But I'm finding it increasingly difficult to absorb new things. It will take me weeks to learn something you kids pick up in a half hour. Not much I can do about it, except to try to be good-natured when all y'all tease me about it.

Part of me is scared that this will one day happen to me. Part of me is really excited for where technology is headed that one day this will happen to me.

I had a realization last night talking to DH that his dad has had internet access for a solid 10 years longer than I have (internet at home, I mean). And yet I'm not the one giving out my cc info to scammers and allowing them to remote into my computer. Like, I get it taking longer to "get" new tech, but man.
And I used to think my dad was a lil paranoid for thinking it was cray to keep financial info on your computer cause the gov will get at it.
Heh, funny how that works.
