Blowout loss to Baylor, Rhoads fired?

Umm. You can't add those odds together to get a greater probability.

If there is a 15% chance to win each of 4 consecutive games, there is a 47.8% (which I referred to as approx 50%) chance win win at least one. Not exactly advanced probability here.

Didn't know if I should make a new thread or just post this in the Baylor thread... But

If we do get blown up--- 70-10, 70-21, something along those lines, would Rhoads get the can or is he basically in there for the long haul of the season?

I thought it should have happened the day after we lost 71-7 two years ago. I doubt the score this Saturday makes any difference.

I disagree a little bit here. Fake punts and onside kicks in the first quarter do seem to show a little more urgency than a "typical" mid-season game...

Punting on 4th and 3 on your own side of the field when down 10 in the second half is the opposite of urgency. It's laying back and taking it.

It'll probably be ignored, but we haven't lost to anyone surprising this year. Almost every team we've lost to is still unbeaten, and the one that isn't unbeaten lost to Baylor and TCU.

Put down the pitchforks. The season isn't over.

If we lost to everybody else on the schedule it wouldn't be surprising. That's part of the problem.

IMO, the only chance CPR is gone at the end of the year is if our guys just give up. If the remainder of the games (other than Baylor) are lost by 30-40 points on average then there is a chance he is gone. If they don't get blown out in the remaining games, CPR will be back on the sidelines again next year.
