Blowout loss to Baylor, Rhoads fired?

Pollard won't fire Paul, not after Baylor kicks his *** and not after the season. Pollard is a numbers guy. As long as the numbers are in his favor, Paul stays.

You can tell the tide is shifting. I know several people who are done for the year and not renewing next year. I really think a brand new empty stadium is going to get the point across.

I think this has more to do with the 5 mil owed rather than their faith in Paul. Donors probably aren't happy with what Paul has done but not $5 mil unhappy yet.

I love how this amount has increased in message board lore from $3.5 to start the season to $4.5 on Saturday and $5 million today. Now we have the best reason to fire him immediately.

Who wants to look this up and get working off the actual figure, whatever it is?

My only hope is that basketball season arrives quickly so that everyone can step off the ledge and focus on something else. Oh right, nevermind, this is CycloneFanatic, no room for rational thinking here.

What the heck is rational about saying we'll win another game based on how sorry we've been this season?

I will say what I've said all year-- either make a statement and say 2-3 wins per year isn't good enough and can him, or go the Kansas route and commit no money to football, divert the money elsewhere, and just let the program die. Putting the money into the program and acting like we are attempting to achieve more, then keeping our coach whose won, what, 6 games in 3 years, makes no sense to me. Go one way or another.

Its $750,000 for each year left on the contract. So $4.5 million at the end of the season.

except there will be a lot of people still going to games next year after they get sold on optimism. Pretty confident CPR will be here next year.

What is JP going to sell next year? What excuse is left? The main reason so many people renewed this season was because of the SEZ. That awe will be gone. Whats left?

As am I. Also understand that recruits are being told this by the coaches - and Pollard.

Lots of injuries, this team was young, a new QB...you name it and it seems to work with a lot of our fans.

If they can't afford a decent sound system at JTS I'm not sure how they can afford to change coaches.

Wally and MM will prolly go on off into the sunset.

Thank you Suckers! and when I say suckers, I mean you doofus Cyclone fans who kept giving us money after the Liberty Bowl....enjoy winter in Boone!!! We'll be on the gulf coast hoping our returns our highter than 12% on Ameritrade on some our Enviro/Global Warming schemes that our funds seem to invest in....Hell it works!
