Unless someone has pictures of Paul looking down Nick Saban's daughter's shirt he won't get fired mid season.
Thats not how it works. The people who donate the most money (ie the ones who Pollard calls on a conference call to tell them who the next coach will be before it goes public) are the ones who can force CPR out, regardless of how many tickets and how much money is coming in from other sources.
I think you are understating how bad it was at the end of the Walden era. We didn't have a full complement of scholarship players, and the players that we had would have been hard pressed to fill a IAA roster. We had Troy Davis... riding the bench and not on the field. The field was freaking 20 year old astroturf that made as many tackles against our players as the defense did. The facilities were basically unchanged since the 70's at that point and showed it.
I would like to know this also. Just posting the word that I've heard. I hope to god I'm wrong.
It'll probably be ignored, but we haven't lost to anyone surprising this year. Almost every team we've lost to is still unbeaten, and the one that isn't unbeaten lost to Baylor and TCU.

Baylor could win 100-0 and JP wouldn't fire him - Rhoads is "his guy". It will take Leath and/or donors making the decision for Pollard, and if that happens, it won't be until the end of the season - and if it comes to that Pollard may be going out the door with him.
3 weeks ago I would have put 80/20 odds on CPR being here next year given everything I had heard. Now, especially after his comments about the Lanning pass today, I put the odds at around 30%. The fans (informed ones) have turned from apathetic and frustrated to downright angry and ******. A win or two can ease frustration, but it's hard to fix the hostility brewing.
At best ISU finishes 3-9. Care to make any wagers on this at all? We could do it for snowblowing driveways or Jethro's, I don't care. There is no way this team can win games. Not with the coaching we have seen. Rhoads might bench Warren next game after a 40 yard TD because he did not make the cut he should have.
I think this has more to do with the 5 mil owed rather than their faith in Paul. Donors probably aren't happy with what Paul has done but not $5 mil unhappy yet.

I would have put him on notice after the Liberty Bowl that since you mad NO CHANGES to a self-evident self-destructive staff that he had ZERO TOLERANCE of incompetence...the UNI loss would have declared that he would be fired. Not Sunday, but the second he walked off the field in 2013.

My only hope is that basketball season arrives quickly so that everyone can step off the ledge and focus on something else. Oh right, nevermind, this is CycloneFanatic, no room for rational thinking here.
