2007-2008 Record Change

This thread? It would seem so.

But it doesn't prove what Wesley said is accurate.

- Wes could be giving an honest answer.
- He could be going to Kentucky and lied.
- Michigan stuff could be a "smoke screen" for the Kentucky deal.
- It could Michigan all along and the reports, including KG, were wrong.
- Wes could be headed to Mars to lead the first Martian basketball team.


The thing is, we just don't know and I can't 100% believe a guy that just skated town in the middle of the night. I'd like to, he's always been a classy kid and all - but I just can't. I've seen too many what we all thought were classy kids, do non-classy things.
 
Honestly, I wish Mac would come to the press conference today all fired up and pissed off. I'd like to see some fire in him, especially if he didn't have any clue that Wes was leaving.

I don't expect (or want) him to throw Wes under the bus but I don't want a "it happened and we will move on" type of ho-hum response.

But that's just me.

Anyone expecting to get "answers" at today's presser is going to be SEVERELY disappointed.

That is essentially what he already said in the paper. He is worried about the players that are still committed to being a Cyclone. Not sure what else he can do or say at this point.

So how does he change his stance? If he says he had no clue then not only is he throwing Wes under the bus but he is further showing that he is disconnected from the players. If he says he knew Wes was unhappy then it shows he didn't work to keep him here and he lied in his earlier comments. Should be alot of spin coming from Hunzicker Auditorium at 4 pm....

Trust me when I say that the bolded is completely true...Will you see it in the press conference...probably not.

Even if there WERE bad things going on vis-a-vis Kentucky, I could see Michigan becoming his REAL final destination based on self-preservation, as well as the "secret" being out.

His transfer to Kentucky has no connection to the game against Alabama outside of his scuffle with McDermott. The connection is one that WJ established last August when he toured to Australia with Athletes in Action. The coach of that team was Jeremy Cox, head assistant to Billy Gillespie. The head of administration for that team was Peter Warden who is the Director of Basketball Operations at Kentucky. Players did not know about anything...WJ is covering his tracks. WJ brother calls all the shots.

Mac is going to be very straight forward at the press conference.


I have never lied to this board...and I would question other sources.

what's the deal with the brother? what tracks are being covered? what is the connection with the ot loss? for the love of god if you know tell us!! and if what you originally posted about the ot loss is no longer credible, at least tell us what it was possibly hinting at!!
