Random Thoughts IV

I recall the weather being very nice that day. I checked the score at about halftime and noticed that we were ahead and went back outside to hang out around the neighborhood. The huge Husker fan across the street was intently watching the game. I figured something was up when he didn't come out of his house until about 2 hours after the game should have ended. He was calm by then but I imagine that his family room took a bit of punishment during the game.

Best part of watching the game on TV was the expressions on the faces of the fans every time they cut to the Nebbie crowds. We've been on the receiving end of those nutshots far too often. It felt good to see it happen to a different team/fanbase.

Yes, I'm vindictive. :)

The oldest daughter had her high school open house last night. The parents with older kids that have already been there assure me that it goes generally well and the school is very good but I'm still pretty nervous (this is my first baby). I'm very happy that when we went through the gym where all the activities were represented that the table she was most interested in was the National Honor Society.

Also, there is a KPop club. Whoulda thunk?

I wouldn't have expected that. I wonder if they learn Korean to know what the songs are saying or just depend on sub titles.

Today is Z's second birthday. We did the family thing Saturday and they sang to her. They even had a candle for her to blow out. After blowing out the candle she said, "On?" and lifted toward the waitress. She was very nice and lit the candle one more time.

Today we're headed out for birthday lunch. Hopefully we can get them to sing for her too.

That is soooooo sweet! Brought a smile to my face. :)

So did you get her an iphone yet? All her friends have one.

Little Cooler was sick with a fever for the past two days. I had the teacher E-mail her homework to me. I guess this year (3rd grade) they get packet of work to do and they are given a week to do it. By the time I got home from work, she had done it all already. Then she said she might ask the teacher for more because it was fun.

I may have to get a paternity test.

Hahaa...littlest00 turns 3 Saturday. Still trying to decide whether to go to MercyMe in Davenport. Both boys also love them (little00 was singing "Greater" to himself this morning as he was getting ready for school), but the concert doesn't start until 7, so it'll probably be 10 or later when we get out of there, plus it's supposed to be pretty hot, plus we have littlest00's b-day party on Sunday.

That's a hard decision. Will there be a nap in there anywhere? It sounds like a fun day though.

All you German linguists are keeping babelfish.com in business. At least on my computer.

BTW, I guessed wrong on every phrase so far. They were much tamer than I thought. I'm strangely disappointed in all of you.

They don't teach you the really good stuff in one semester of community college.

I can't believe she's 2 already. And so sweet!

just emailed a dentist office asking who did their landscape work. Not weird at all, haha.

But they have such a nice space. Beautiful maple that is just gorgeous red in the fall, plants and shrub mixture so that something is always blooming or in color - drive by every day and think it looks so nice.
