NFL: NFL Offseason Thread

while im not going to defend him as a rusher or as a 'raiders fan', is he not suppose to be following the pulling guard to the designated 'hole' off guard or tackle ... Now should he have cut it back to the amazingly large gap off center, yes ... Maybe the raiders need to send him to the eye doctor ...

I think Trent Richardson is one of the worst RBs in the NFL and has terrible vision, but this screenshot is BS.

There's a LB just out of the screen about to fill the hole and the play is designed to go off tackle right, the LG is guard pulling that way, like you said.

Did you watch the video?

I wish Reggie Wayne wasn't taking a physical with the Patriots already. I think the Packers would be smart to go after him if Jordy is indeed done for the year.

I think one of our old WRs in James Jones is still currently a free agent. Wouldn't be a bad time to give him a call.

I'm pretty sure he's with the Giants now.

Wes Welker is available, but that doesn't do anything for me. Might have to wait and see who gets cut by other teams?

Honestly they probably don't have to go out and get anyone else. They have a lot of capable WR's on the roster already. I like Janis and Montgomery especially.

Agree, I would just roll with the young kids as well.

They might still be in the mix for Reggie -

He doesn't pose much of a downfield threat anymore but he could be a nice addition as a possession receiver. I'd rather see him in Green Bay than suited up for the effing Patriots.

I know guys do it all the time, but I can't stand when guys go to rivals.

Yeah, NE was the last place I wanted Wayne to end up this season. But then again, it's not like forced his way out of Indy. He made it clear that he wanted to play one more season and he would have resigned with the Colts for a reasonable amount. They instead showed him the door, and if that move comes back to bite them in the *** when they're trying to get by the Pats then I suppose it's on them.

What a cluster in DC. I don't necessarily think RGIII can ever be an elite NFL QB, but that organization offers zero stability and it's almost like all the moves they've made the last two years run counter to what Griffin can still do well when he's healthy - get outside the pocket and make plays on the run. It'll be interesting to see if Griffin now tries to force his way out or if they decide to just cut him and move on.
