$48 for a parking permit on campus. And so it begins...
For the whole semester? Not bad. I have to pay 100 a month to park in my own parking lot.

And what's up with normally okay posters going all postal on CG in the retired thread? They serious or just pretending to be all prissy? Honestly cannot tell for sure.
Is this the case or is it more so because she is nervous about the cleanliness of the kitchen utensils?Nickels has already informed me that she doesn't trust any of my cooking enough to feel comfortable enough that it doesn't inadvertantly poison her.
Rulz--Shawshank is a good movie, you should see it sometime.
Retirement--people can do whatever they please. If they are able to retire and want to, good for them. If they are the personality/type that needs to keep busy and want to keep working, then work if it is a job you love. My dad "retired" a few years ago, but still works (farmer).
Grandparents--my parents help us when they can, but since they are retired they travel quite a bit (they are actually in Spain right now but not in the same places as the team) Babysitters are expensive and my parents are free.
On my CF hiatus we got a brand new van. We were in Omaha over the 4th and happened to get rear ended at a stoplight. Over $3K damage, new bumper and liftgate, driver had no insurance. Taking it back in today because the fix isn't right and we still haven't gotten money from our insurance company over a month from when they said to go ahead and get it fixed. Didn't even have 2500 miles on it when it happened. :realmad:

Insuranceless drivers are scum. It'll be great when you get the letter in a year and half saying yeah we tried to get money out of this moron but he's worthless so, we're closing this case and you officially don't get any money back. Toodles!
It's always the vehicle you just got, always. Can't have nice things! (glad everyone is ok!)
I suppose you can only get so sick from a day-old Gatorade bottle. No, it's definitely her fear of accidental death from my cooking.

Guy is supposed to be going to court for the multiple charges he racked up (reckless driving, no insurance, etc). He was a meat packing plant worker in Omaha. Will never see any money from him. Then we hear from our insurance "We were waiting on the police report, we see it was an uninsured driver". Yes, we told you that the first time we called. That is why we have coverage for uninsured driver claims.
So my pen exploded this morning. I was just in the bathroom a few minutes ago washing my hands and I glanced in the mirror. I apparently gave myself a Hitler mustache at some point without realizing it.
And here you were just wondering why everyone was really toeing the line around you all morning.
